Backlight Through Dust
HUG AI Lab · 2026
The room is empty so the light has to be the subject. Dust becomes the medium that makes the beam legible — a volume only visible because something is suspended in it.
Note where the beam stops on the floor. That edge is sharper than any object in the frame.
Image description: A bare plaster room with a hard shaft of daylight from a high window crossing the floor, airborne dust visible in the beam.
